Profile wrapping is the continuous industrial process of bonding a flexible decorative material — foil, film, veneer, or laminate — around the full surface of a linear shaped substrate (profile) using a wrapping machine. The adhesive is applied to the substrate or backing material via roller or slot nozzle, and the decorative material is pressed against the substrate by a series of guide rollers that conform it precisely to every curve, radius, and angle of the profile geometry.
